Samsung is gearing up to launch its most important smartphone in years. The Samsung Galaxy S10, the tenth anniversary model of the long-running Galaxy range, promises a major upgrade in terms of power and features.
The Korean giant is due to reveal three phones including the Galaxy S10 and a larger Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus this month at events being held simultaneously in London and San Francisco.
Rumoured features so far include a triple-lens camera system, punch-hole display screen, 5G network capabilties and longer battery life. One model of the new phones could even see a price cut compared to previous years.
The latest leaks suggest Samsung is launching a bunch of new wearables to join its smartphone. These include an AirPod rival, a smart watch and a fitness band.
Last year, Samsung launched the Samsung Galaxy S9. While a critical hit, the model failed to boost sales compared to previous generations.
With the tenth anniversary model, Samsung could release as many as three versions. These are expected to include a smaller Samsung Galaxy S10, a larger-screened Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus, and a cheaper Samsung Galaxy S10E.
There are also rumours of a 5G smartphone, which would have ultra fast data capabilities, and a phone with a folding display, tentatively dubbed by fans as the Samsung Galaxy X or the Galaxy F.
