Apple’s AirPower could finally be in production 14 months after the wireless charging pad was first unveiled, according to new reports.
Twitter account ChargerLab claimed on Monday that Apple’s AirPower “is finally coming”, citing a source close to Chinese electronics manufacturer Luxshare Precision who reportedly said that the firm has started production of the charging pad.
Luxshare Precision currently manufactures Apple’s AirPod earphones and its USB-C cables.
The account also claims that Taiwanese electronics firm Pegatron is set to start mass production of the AirPower later this month.
The long-awaited product is thought to be able to charge Apple’s iPhone, AirPod earphones and smartwatch simultaneously.
