Callum Hudson-Odoi has been called into Gareth Southgate’s England senior squad for the Euro 2020 qualifiers against Czech Republic and Montenegro.
The 18-year-old was originally included in the squad for the Under-21s, for whom he is yet to make his debut.
But injuries have forced England manager Southgate to promote Hudson-Odoi, who has yet to start a Premier League game for Chelsea.
Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse has also been called into the squad, following the withdrawals of Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Fabian Delph and John Stones.
Hudson-Odoi has scored five goals for his club this season, four of which have come in the Europa League.
