Man dies in stabbing after fight in south-west London

Counter terrorism police have launched an investigation after a 19-year-old man was stabbed in Surrey in a suspected far right attack.

A 50-year-old man was arrested following the incident in Stanwell, Surrey on Saturday evening.

Police were called to Viola Avenue, not far from the southern perimeter of Heathrow Airport, at around 10.30pm following reports that a man armed with a baseball bat and a knife was shouting racist comments.

A short time later, police also received reports that a man had been stabbed nearby and a 19-year old was discovered with non-life threatening injuries.

Following initial investigations, police declared it as a terrorist related incident.
