When they were enjoying their first dates in London, they liked nothing better than going undercover to see some of the finest shows the West End could offer.
As a married couple, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are now putting their theatre visits to good use, with a series of “Sentebale Nights” of entertainment to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds for charity.
The Duke’s charity, Sentebale, has announced it is to put on a series of theatre nights to raise money for the young people of Lesotho, with the royal couple attending a special performance of Cirque du Soleil performers on Wednesday.
The Duke and Duchess will be guests of honour for the premiere of the Canadian circus company’s production Totem, raising awareness and funds young people in southern Africa affected by HIV.
The evening will be the second in a series of “Sentebale Nights”, following on from a fundraising performance of the hit musical Hamilton last year which the Duke and Duchess attended.
