Eurovision: You Decide, review - A fun, slightly shambolic show that finally picked the right song 

There was a moment during Eurovision: You Decide when host Måns Zelmerlöw quipped that if we didn’t like the result, he wasn’t going to go back to Brussels to ask for a new song. That was the cue for anyone with a serious opinion on Brexit to take the night off.

The thing is, Eurovision isn’t really about having a serious opinion on anything except for singing songs and having a nice time, and that’s why so many of us love it. And on the strength of this year’s BBC selection show, in which the UK voted to choose the act that will represent us at the Grand Final of the competition in Tel Aviv, it seems as if the country as a whole actually might be getting the hang of it.
