When it launched in 2001, the Ulysse Nardin Freak sent shockwaves through the world of horology.

A timepiece without conventional hands, dial or winding crown, and the very first watch to use silicon in its movement, it paved the way for other masters of invention, from MB&F’s Maximilian Büsser to Urwerk’s Felix Baumgartner and Martin Frei.
