Samsung is close to releasing its most important smartphone in years. The Samsung Galaxy S10, the tenth anniversary model of the long-running Galaxy range, promises a major upgrade in terms of power and features.
The Korean giant is due to reveal the Galaxy S10 this month at events being held simultaneously in London and San Francisco.
Rumoured features so far include a triple-lens camera system, punch-hole display screen, 5G network capabilties and longer battery life. One model of the new phones could even see a price cut compared to previous years.
Last year, Samsung launched the Samsung Galaxy S9. While a critical hit, the model failed to boost sales compared to previous generations.
With the tenth anniversary model, Samsung could release as many as three versions. These are expected to include a smaller Samsung Galaxy S10, a Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus, and a cut-price Samsung Galaxy S10E.
There are also rumours of a 5G smartphone, which would have ultra fast data capabilities, and a phone with a folding display, tentatively dubbed by fans as the Samsung Galaxy X or the Galaxy F. Samsung is also said to be launching an AirPod rival and a new smartwatch.
