Nuno Espirito Santo has been charged with misconduct by the Football Association after being sent off in Saturday’s dramatic 4-3 win over Leicester.
The Wolves head coach was dismissed by referee Chris Kavanagh for running onto the pitch to celebrate with his players after Diogo Jota’s winner in the 93rd minute.
And Nuno is now facing a fine and possible touchline ban after the FA received Kavanagh’s report of the game on Monday.
The FA’s statement read: “Nuno Espírito Santo has been charged with misconduct relating to his behaviour in the 93rd minute of the game between Wolves and Leicester on Saturday. He has until 18:00 on 24 January 2019 to respond to the charge.”
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was fined £8,000 and warned about his future behaviour after entering the field to hug goalkeeper Alisson Becker, at the end of last month’s derby win over Everton.
