Heliskiing and submarining on an exclusive superyacht tour of Greenland

The world’s biggest island and home to fewer than 60,000 people, Greenland remains one of the last great wildernesses. Now a unique new tour of the country’s west coast will showcase some of its most remote inlets and bays by superyacht, with some heli-skiing expeditions and submarine journeys thrown in.

Scheduled to sail from April 19 to 26, the trip takes place aboard Legend, a 77-metre retrofitted Russian icebreaker that now serves as a commercially operated superyacht intended for non-stop charter (as opposed to private use by its owners).

Ordinarily the superyacht can only be secured if it is booked in its entirety, with charter costs typically starting at €490,000 (£430,000) a week, plus expenses, but this forthcoming voyage will operate under a different guise.
