Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will not entertain offers from Real Madrid to resolve the Bernabeu crisis should the Spanish giants seek to lure him from Anfield this summer.
In the aftermath of an embarrassing exit to Ajax, a 4-1 home defeat ending Real’s incredible run in the competition which included last year’s victory over Liverpool, reports have emerged of Klopp being the number one target to revive the deposed European champions.
Tottenham’s Mauricio Pochettino, Jose Mourinho and Juventus’ Max Allegri are also said to be under consideration.
But Klopp remains committed to Liverpool, determined to see through the work which has taken the club so close to its elusive first Premier League title.
Klopp’s Liverpool contract runs until 2022 and he has no intention of walking away having made such extraordinary progress since settling on Merseyside.
