Predictions on the best mobile phone deals in the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales

For a glimpse of what else is to come, we can take inspiration from last year’s deal on the Samsung A8. For just £10 upfront, customers were offered the phone, 1GB of monthly data and unlimited minutes and texts for £24 a month – a £160 saving.
iPhone deals
When it comes to Apple’s products, the best deals aren’t likely to be found on the iPhone 11 or 11 Pro (both are new enough to sell at full price having been unveiled in September 2019), but on the XR, XS and – perhaps most dramatically – iPhone 8. While the 8’s HD Retina display isn’t quite as jazzy as the XR’s advanced LCD, there is little noticeable difference otherwise. All three models boast a great 12MP camera, process day-to-day tasks efficiently, and are largely loved by their owners.
Last year, Carphone Warehouse offered the iPhone 7 at no upfront cost, with 500MB of data, for just £25.99 a month. iD Mobile also highlighted the same handset in multiple deals, saving customers up to £330.
Android deals
If you’re on Team Android and you’ve been thinking about upgrading to a Huawei P30 or P30 Pro (I’m with you – I  mean, those cameras!), it is definitely worth waiting until the Black Friday sales period begins. We expect them to be among the best Android phone deals available because, during Black Friday last year, the then-hot model (Huawei P20 Pro ) was packaged with unlimited data and minutes for just £29 upfront and £40 a month at Three.
