Six Nations 2019 fixtures and TV schedule for this weekend

The Six Nations 2019 Championship is well under way, with the second round taking place this weekend, starting with Scotland vs Ireland on Saturday afternoon.

All matches of the tournament will be shown live on either the BBC or ITV. Every Wales game will also be shown on S4C. FR2 will be broadcasting every game in France, TV3 in Ireland and DMAX in Italy. In America, NBC will broadcast every game of the Championship.

Ireland are the reigning champions, after claiming the Grand Slam and Triple Crown in 2018. Joe Schmidt’s men picked up 26 points in total – 11 more than second-placed Wales.

England, who had been going for their third Six Nations title in a row, ended up finishing in a disappointing fifth place last year. But already, in 2019, there is hope for Eddie Jones’ XV – after his team beat Ireland 32-20 in their opening match in Dublin.

All matches will be played on either Saturday or Sunday in the remaining four rounds.

When does Six Nations 2019 start?

The 2019 Six Nations kicked off on February 1, when Wales beat France 24 – 19 in the opening match at the Stade de France in Paris.
