As with all WorldTour races, each of the 18 teams that make up the top-flight of professional cycling receive an invite and in the case of Strade Bianche all teams are contracted to race.

In addition to the WorldTour teams, race organisers RSC handed wildcard spots to three Pro-Continental teams – Neri Sottoli-Selle Italia-KTM, Nippo Vini Fantini Faizane and Vital Concept-B&B Hotels.

You can find below the provisional seven-man teams that will contest one of the most evocative races on the WorldTour calendar, the 184 kilometre race along the white Tuscan roads that both starts and finishes in the beautiful old city of Siena.
