Tonight MPs will vote for a second time on Theresa May’s Brexit deal. It comes after she secured last-minute concessions during a Monday night trip to Strasbourg.
While there are hundreds of MPs in Parliament, most of them will make their decision on how to vote based on the advice of a small handful of powerful figures. Geoffrey Cox, the Attorney General, the eight members of the Brexiteer “star chamber” and the leaders of the European Research Group will be vital in deciding the outcome of Tuesday’s meaningful vote.
